Hollydell Ice Arena Community
This morning, Governors Murphy, Cuomo and Lamont announced a new series of restrictions for NJ, NY and CT. The 3 states are following the CDC recommendation of not gathering in groups larger than 50. To achieve this recommendation, they have closed casinos, public gyms and movie theaters while limiting bars and restaurants to takeout and delivery. New Jersey has implemented an 8:00 PM curfew for non essential businesses.
While ice rinks or similar community facilities are not specifically mentioned, Hollydell remains singularly focused on the health and safety of its community. As a result, we are going to immediately postpone all scheduled programming until at least March 23rd. Any missed classes will be rescheduled. During this time, we will take the opportunity to have the entire facility professionally cleaned. We will also review all of our scheduled programs to see if we can operate safely within the state's mandate after the 23rd. We are closing Dunlop's as well. We will assess if we are going to open for takeout service as of the 23rd.
Hollydell will emerge from these uncertain times stronger than ever, and we will look forward to serving all of our customers.
As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns.
