John Gaudreau the son of  the Hollydell Ice Arena's Hockey Director Guy Gaudreau has been drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 2011 NHL entry draft.
John was selected during the 4th round and 104th overall in the draft. John just recently completed a season with the USHL's Dubuque Fighting Saints
were he was instrumental in the team winning the league championship. John was voted Rookie of the Year in the USHL as well as many other accomplishments
with Dubuque during his 2010-11 rookie season. John is scheduled to attend Northeastern University in the fall of 2011.

Matt Gaudreau the younger brother of John has recently been drafted by the USHL Omaha Lancers and will be heading to Omaha for the 2011-12 season.
Matt also has a four year commitment to attend Northeastern University.
